volunteer Instructor Frequently Asked Questions

  • BASE is always welcoming others to join our mission. We are a 100% volunteer staffed adaptive snowsport program. We seek individuals who love skiing or snowboarding and desire to share their passion with people with challenges. BASE will train you to safely instruct our participants. An understanding and generous attitude is our top qualification. You can either volunteer as a full-time volunteer (36 hours total for the season) or a part time volunteer (as many hours as you would like to volunteer for the season). See below for the descriptions of requirements for full time and part time volunteers and to learn the benefits of being a BASE volunteer.

  • Join us at one of our BASE volunteer recruitment events (see website calendar at the bottom of the home page) or fill out the form above titled “Volunteer Interest Form”.
