BASE is a 100% volunteer run organization whose mission is to bring adaptive snow sport education to all individuals who want to learn how to become independent on the ski hill. This requires purchasing and maintenance of expensive equipment, training of all volunteers each year, and administrative costs. BASE also strives to give out scholarships to students each year.
