New participant Frequently Asked Questions

  • BASE exists to offer snowsport opportunities to anyone not appropriately served by Bogus Basin Ski and Snowboard School. We are 100% volunteer staffed and have more PSIA/ASSI Adaptive Instructors than any other school in the region. We coach our participants in life skills as well as how to become more independent in winter activities.

  • Sessions are held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for an 8-week period from January 9th, 2026 until March 1st, 2026. You can sign up for as many as 4 sessions for the season with our adaptive instructors.

  • Participants may sign up for up to 4 sessions per season, and those registering for 4 sessions will receive a Bogus Basin Season Pass. A wait list is available for further session requests.

  • All sessions are a 2-hour private experience with at least 2 highly qualified adaptive instructors. Each session includes rental and adaptive equipment, a lift pass, and adaptive snowsport instruction.

  • Click the “BECOME A BASE PARTICIPANT” button above to be linked to our registration platform. There you will begin registering as a BASE participant and sign up for your sessions for this season!

  • Each lesson costs $75, which includes rental equipment, adaptive equipment, a ski pass, and adaptive instructors.

  • Financial assistance is available upon request. Please fill out the contact form on this website to request financial assistance.
